Loveena Davies

A smiling woman in a sparkly top and black dress in an outdoor setting.

Hi, I'm Loveena Davies.

I am a mum of two, a wife, a lover of food and dancing, and I will admit to owning too many shoes.

I originally moved from Melbourne for a 'gap' year to embark on my Outback adventure and have ended up living and working in the NT over the last decade.

Over 14 years, I have worked as an educator in various classroom capacities, special education, and youth work in some of Australia's most challenging schools. I have also held roles as a Behaviour Support specialist, Circle of Security Facilitator, and Registered Counsellor.

My approach to counselling is tailored to the unique needs and personal style of each individual client. Primarily, I work using CBT, incorporating Attachment Theory and Solution-Focused Therapy. I believe in being neurodivergent affirming and trauma-informed.

I am passionate about supporting, advocating, and creating a space for every individual I work with to build their confidence, overcome challenges, and thrive. I recognize the importance of offering child counselling and parent-child counselling, especially in areas such as perinatal counselling. These aspects are often overlooked but play a vital role in shaping our personal journey.
